Physical therapists use spinal manipulation to help patients by applying controlled, manual forces to the spine to improve alignment, reduce pain, enhance mobility, and restore proper function, which can alleviate symptoms and support overall musculoskeletal health.

Neurologic rehabilitation focuses on helping individuals recover from conditions affecting the nervous system, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, or multiple sclerosis.
Physical therapy in this context emphasizes restoring mobility, strength, and coordination. Therapists design personalized exercise programs to address specific movement deficits and improve overall physical function.
Occupational therapy assists patients in regaining the ability to perform daily activities and enhances their quality of life. This includes adapting tasks, training in self-care, and developing coping strategies for cognitive challenges.
Together, these therapies aim to maximize recovery, promote independence, and support overall well-being for individuals navigating neurologic conditions

Physical therapy focuses on improving mobility, strength, and balance. Therapists work with patients to regain movement and function, often using exercises and techniques to enhance coordination and reduce the risk of falls.
Occupational therapy, on the other hand, aims to help individuals regain the skills needed for daily activities. This can include retraining in self-care tasks, adapting the home environment, and finding ways to manage tasks that may be challenging due to physical or cognitive impairments.
Together, these therapies promote independence and improve the quality of life for stroke survivors, helping them reintegrate into their daily routines and communities.

Physical therapists conduct gait training to help patients improve their walking patterns by analyzing and correcting abnormalities in their stride, balance, and posture. This training is essential for enhancing mobility, preventing falls, and ensuring efficient, pain-free movement, particularly for individuals recovering from injury, surgery, or neurological conditions.

Physical and occupational therapists assist in pain management by employing a variety of techniques such as targeted exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like heat or cold therapy to reduce pain and inflammation. They also provide education on body mechanics and adaptive strategies to minimize discomfort and improve overall function in daily activities.
